Pierre and Gabriel Lemieux were first cousins
We have here the updated lineage as of March 1st 1999 of Pierre and Gabriel Lemieux, the first two ancestors who came to America. A very big thank you to our cousin Jacques Lemieux, ou historian, for an important correction brought to our historical lineage, concerning the theory that our two root ancestors were uterine brothers (same mother, different fathers)" Furthermore, the ascendant lineage could date as far back as 1295 at which time the surname appears as Le Mies.
